William Hoy Letter Writing Campaign

Episode #1 of This American Kid (coming soon!) will feature Nancy Churnin, Theatre Critic for the Dallas Morning News and Author of “The William Hoy Story” and “Manjhi Moves a Mountian” (Coming out September 2017).

“The William Hoy Story” shares the inspiring and true story of William Hoy a deaf, professional baseball player, who changed the game.  William Hoy has been inducted into several Halls of Fame, but not the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. Milo is encouraging his listeners to read “The William Hoy Story” and join the letter writing campaign started by Nancy Churnin to help get William Hoy recognized.

Write two paragraphs with reasons why you think William Hoy should be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The next vote happens in 2018. You can mail your letters of support to: National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum 25 Main Street Cooperstown, NY 13326

  1. Congratulations Milo! You did an amazing job and I can’t wait to hear more of your interviews. Keep up the good work. I hope your writing campaign is a huge success. You are an inspiration to other six year olds.
